Scope

Orders placed through this website do not constitute a binding purchase agreement but rather initiate a subsequent purchase contract between you and the NIU partner of your choice. These Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) therefore cover only the key framework conditions on the path toward purchasing electric scooters and electric motorcycles from NIU, from the perspective of MOBILIZE GmbH as the operator of this website.

Contracting Parties

The contracting party of the future purchase agreement is either MOBILIZE GmbH or another authorised NIU dealer in Switzerland.

Prices, Payment Terms and Delivery Conditions

The prices for the products are listed in Swiss francs (CHF) and include the applicable statutory VAT. Prices and payment terms for the provision and delivery of electric vehicles are not listed, as they will form part of the final purchase agreement between you and the NIU dealer.

Process & Rules for Pre-Orders

By placing a pre-order, you reserve your personal NIU model from the next incoming shipment and pay a reservation fee that will be credited toward your later purchase.

Process: After your pre-order, the NIU importer (MOBILIZE) will contact you to:
a) ensure that the vehicle suits your requirements;
b) clarify which NIU dealer you would like to work with in the future.

You will then receive an invoice from MOBILIZE for a reservation fee of CHF 100.–. Once payment has been received, the vehicle is reserved for you. This reservation fee will be credited toward your purchase but will not be refunded if you decide not to proceed with the purchase—unless:
a) the delivery date is delayed by more than 30 days beyond our estimate; or
b) you choose a different vehicle model.

Warranty and Guarantee

NIU Vehicles
A standard two-year warranty applies to parts and replacement services. For battery packs, the warranty is limited to 20,000 kilometres of riding. The warranty period begins with the vehicle’s first registration. Wear parts such as tyres, brake pads and brake discs are excluded.

NIU Spare Parts
Parts added after the vehicle has been registered generally adopt the warranty period of the vehicle, with a minimum warranty period of 12 months. The sales or installation date of the part is decisive.

Disclaimer

MOBILIZE GmbH, as the NIU importer, is not liable for damages arising from improper use of the products. Any liability for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use or the inability to use the products is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

All legal relations between the seller and the customer are subject exclusively to Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes related to this website is Küssnacht am Rigi.
