2. General principles
2.1 What data do we collect from you and from whom do we receive this data?
Primarily, we process personal data that you provide to us or that we collect in the course of operating our website. In certain cases, we may also receive personal data about you from third parties. These may include the following categories:
- basic personal data (name, address, date of birth, etc.);
- contact data (mobile phone number, e-mail address, etc.);
- financial data (e.g. account information);
- online identifiers (e.g. cookie ID, IP addresses);
- location and traffic data;
- audio and image recordings;
- sensitive personal data (e.g. biometric data or information relating to your health).
2.2 Under what conditions do we process your data?
We treat your data confidentially and in accordance with the purposes set out in this privacy policy. In doing so, we ensure that processing is transparent and proportionate.
If in exceptional cases we are not able to fully comply with these principles, the data processing may nevertheless be lawful if there is a legal basis (justification). In particular, the following may constitute such a legal basis:
- your consent;
- the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures;
- our legitimate interests, provided that your interests do not override them.
2.3 How can you withdraw your consent?
If you have given us your consent to process your personal data for specific purposes, we will process your data within the scope of this consent, unless we have another legal basis.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by sending an e-mail to the address stated in the imprint. The lawfulness of data processing carried out prior to withdrawal remains unaffected.
2.4 In which cases may we share your data with third parties?
a. General principle
In certain circumstances, we rely on the services of third parties or affiliated companies and may engage them to process your data (so-called processors). The categories of recipients include in particular:
- accounting, fiduciary and audit firms;
- consulting firms (legal advice, tax advice, etc.);
- IT service providers (web hosting, support, cloud services, website design, etc.);
- payment service providers;
- providers of tracking, conversion and advertising services.
We ensure that these third parties and affiliated companies comply with the applicable data protection requirements and treat your personal data confidentially.
In certain circumstances, we may also be obliged to disclose your personal data to authorities.
b. Visiting our social media channels
Our website may contain links to our social media channels. You can recognise these links (typically via the corresponding icons). When you click on these icons, you will be redirected to our social media pages.
In this case, the social media providers learn that you are accessing their platform from our website. They may use the data collected in this way for their own purposes. Please note that we have no detailed knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or of how it is used by these providers.
c. Transfer abroad
In the course of providing our services, your personal data may be transferred to companies located abroad. These companies are bound by the same data protection obligations as we are. The transfer can take place worldwide.
If the level of data protection in the relevant country does not correspond to that of Switzerland, we will carry out a prior risk assessment and ensure by contractual means that an equivalent level of protection to that in Switzerland is guaranteed (for example by using the new standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission or other measures required by law). If our risk assessment is negative, we implement additional technical measures to protect your data. You can access the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses at the following link: https://commission.europa.eu/publications/standard-contractual-clauses-controllers-and-processors-eueea_de
2.5 How long do we retain your data?
We store personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the specific purposes for which it was collected.
Data that we store in connection with your visit to our website is retained for twelve months. An exception applies to analytics and tracking data, which may be stored for a longer period.
We retain contractual data for a longer period because we are required to do so by law. In particular, we must keep business correspondence, concluded contracts and accounting records for up to 10 years. If we no longer need such data from you to provide our services, it will be blocked and used only for accounting and tax purposes.
2.6 How do we protect your data?
We store your data securely and take all reasonable measures to protect it from loss, unauthorised access, misuse or alteration.
Our contractual partners and employees who have access to your data are obliged to comply with the applicable data protection regulations. In some cases, it may be necessary for us to forward your requests to companies affiliated with us. In such cases, your data will also be treated confidentially.
On our website, we use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption in conjunction with the highest encryption level supported by your browser.
2.7 What rights do you have?
a. Right of access
You may request information at any time about the data we hold about you. Please send your request for access, together with proof of identity, to hello@mobilize.ch.
You also have the right to receive your data in a commonly used electronic format if we process your data automatically, and if:
- you have given your consent to the processing; or
- you have provided the data in connection with the conclusion or performance of a contract.
We may restrict or refuse the provision of information or the release of data if this conflicts with our legal obligations, our own legitimate interests, public interests or the interests of third parties.
Your request is subject to the statutory processing period of 30 days. We may extend this period due to a high volume of requests, for legal or technical reasons, or because we need further details from you. You will be informed in good time, at least in text form, about any extension of the deadline.
b. Erasure and rectification
You may request the erasure or rectification of your data at any time. We may refuse your request if legal provisions require us to retain the data for a longer or unchanged period, or if another legal basis opposes deletion.
Please note that the exercise of your rights may, in certain cases, conflict with contractual agreements and have an impact on the performance of the contract (for example, early termination of the contract or additional costs).
c. Legal remedies
If you are affected by the processing of personal data, you have the right to assert your rights in court or to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Switzerland, the competent authority is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC): https://www.edoeb.admin.ch
2.8 Changes to this privacy policy
We may amend this privacy policy at any time. Any changes will be published on this website; you will not receive a separate notification.
3. Individual data processing operations
3.1 Provision of the website and creation of log files
What information do we receive and how do we use it?
When you visit our website, certain data is automatically stored on our servers or on the servers of services and products that we use and/or have installed, for the purposes of system administration, statistics, security or tracking. This includes in particular:
- the name of your Internet service provider;
- your IP address (where applicable);
- the version of your browser software;
- the operating system of the device used to access the URL;
- the date and time of access;
- the website from which you accessed our URL;
- the search terms you used to find our URL.
Why are we allowed to process this data?
This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals and is not combined with other data sources. The storage of log files is necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the website and the security of our IT systems. This constitutes our legitimate interest.
How can you prevent the collection of this data?
Data is stored only for as long as necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. Accordingly, the data is deleted at the end of each session. The storage of log files is absolutely necessary for the operation of the website, and you therefore have no possibility to object to this.
3.2 Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics on our website, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website.
The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will, however, be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity and provide other services relating to website and Internet usage to the website operator.
The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser; however, please note that if you do so, you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the collection by Google of the data generated by the cookie relating to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
3.3 Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense on our website, a service for integrating advertisements provided by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google").
Google AdSense uses cookies to analyse how visitors use the website. Google AdSense also uses so-called web beacons (invisible graphics). These web beacons can be used to evaluate information such as visitor traffic on the pages of this website.
The information generated by cookies and web beacons about the use of this website (including the users’ IP address) and the delivery of advertising formats is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. This information may be passed on by Google to its contractual partners. However, Google will not merge your IP address with other data stored about you.
You can prevent the installation of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of our website in full.
You can also deactivate interest-based ads from Google and interest-based Google ads on the web (within the Google Display Network) in your browser by selecting the "off" button at https://www.google.com/settings/ads or by opting out at https://www.aboutads.info/choices/. Further information about your settings options and data protection at Google can be found at https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/?fg=1.
3.4 Google Ads
We use the Google Ads service on our website, an online advertising service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google Ads enables us to display advertisements in Google search results and within the Google advertising network.
3.5 Google Ads Conversion Tracking
We use the online advertising programme "Google Ads" and, in this context, conversion tracking on our website. Google Ads Conversion Tracking is an analytics service provided by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google").
If you click on an ad placed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is stored on your device. These cookies have a limited validity period, do not contain any personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognise that you have clicked on the ad and were redirected to this page.
The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to compile conversion statistics. In this way, we learn the total number of users who have clicked on one of our Google Ads and have been redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive any information that would allow us to personally identify users.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate technical settings in your browser software. However, please note that if you do so, you may not be able to use all the functions of this website in full. In that case, you will not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
You can also disable personalised advertising for you in the Google Ads settings. Instructions on how to do this can be found at https://support.google.com/My-Ad-Center-Help/answer/12155764.
3.5 Linkedin Ads
We use advertising services from LinkedIn on our website, a service provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland ("LinkedIn").
LinkedIn Ads allows us to display targeted advertisements based on users’ interests and behaviour. LinkedIn uses cookies and similar technologies to display ads based on your previous visits to our website and other websites. This enables us to measure and optimise the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.
The information collected via LinkedIn Ads is anonymous to us, i.e. we do not receive any personal data of individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by LinkedIn and may be linked to user profiles so that LinkedIn can use it for its own advertising purposes in accordance with its privacy policy.
If you are a LinkedIn member and are logged into your LinkedIn account while visiting our website, data collected through LinkedIn Ads may be associated with your LinkedIn profile.
The use of LinkedIn Ads serves the purpose of analysing and optimising the effectiveness of our advertising measures. Data processing is based on our legitimate interest in targeted advertising and in analysing the impact and efficiency of such advertising.

3.8 Google Maps
Our website uses Google Maps, a mapping service provided by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). Google Maps allows us to embed interactive maps directly into our website and provides you with convenient use of the map function, for example to search for locations or plan routes.
When you visit our website, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage. In addition, further data, in particular your IP address, is transmitted to Google and stored on Google’s servers. These servers may be located in the USA or other countries. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether no user account exists.
Google stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for advertising, market research and/or to tailor its website to user needs. Such analysis is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide targeted advertising.
You have the right to object to the creation of these usage profiles; to exercise this right, you must contact Google directly.
